Page of the week – Kirby Destroys Paris Edition

We are not reading many new comics these days (and not finding many that much exciting stuff in them, anyway), so this is another look to the past. From the realm of forgotten comics comes this page from Jack Kirby’s Spirit World:

Published in 1971, this magazine, edited by the king himself, shows us a man focused on what he knew what to do best, destroying cities. Enjoy!!!

Jurgens: The end???

Nothing like a good Jurgens track against the horror that is the Monday!!! We usually try to be very careful with what we publish on the website to make sure that it is as real as it can be. Due to the obscurity of the material, it is sometimes not very easy.

I am afraid that this is once of those instances where we cannot be too sure. The following track comes from a vynil 45RPM single, which is recorded only on one side. The cover is the one you can find in this article, it says: dr3i, 2wei, e1ns … das ende with no mention of the band, but then the label on the vynil says Propaganoia, so we are assuming that’s the real title of the track.

As to its origins, it certainly does seem to have some resemblance to some of Jurgens’s body of work, so if it is not him/them, then it is a good tribute (cannot find anything about a band from the late 70’s or early 80’s called das ende, but I will keep on looking), and we are all about tributes to Jurgens.

Enjoy the track, let us know if you recognise it from some other band or if any of you has any information regarding Jurgens that might not be in our hands!!!
